Parquet Courts 2Here’s the weekly Top 20 College Radio Albums from the Radio 200 list published by CMJ (College Media Journal). The reputable rag surveys up to 600 college radio stations of a weekly basis to compute the list.

In addition, here’s my Spicy Six Albums of the week. These are the six albums that can’t find their way out of my six disc changer. The list consists of my Top 5 Albums of the week, and one Heritage Album that’s worth dusting off and giving a listen.

Here’s the lists:

IMG_4445Parquet Courts (pictured) take over the top spot on the College Album Radio Charts, as The Black Keys drop to #2 after a three week run at the top.  The Brooklyn indie rockers sophomore effort “Sunbathing Animal” is the follow-up to their fantastic debut “Light Up Gold.”  Four new albums enter the Top 20 which include the latest by First Aid Kit, Craft Spells, White Lung, and The Antlers.  “Familiars” the fifth studio album from The Antlers, enters the Top 200 all the way up at #14.  I’m still diggin’ “Disgraceland” by The Orwells, that’s my #1 album again this week.
