Top Albums For The Week Of June 2, 2015

Unknown-Mortal-Orchestra1Each week I post the Top 20 College Radio Albums courtesy of CMJ (College Media Journal).  Below are also 5 discs that I have in heavy rotation and an album that amazingly turns 10 years old in 2015, I call it my Spicy 6.

Alabama Shakes remain at #1 on the College Radio Album Chart for a fourth straight week.  Very little change within the Top 20 as the only new entry is the latest release from Thee Oh Sees.  The biggest mover within the Top 20 is from Unknown Mortal Orchestra (pictured) who jumps thirteen spots to #6.

The sophomore effort from Lord Huron is still my #1 compact disc.  The debut album Apologies To The Queen Mary from the Canadian indie rock band Wolf Parade turns 10 years old in September.  The single “Shine A Light” is a great tune!
