Here’s the weekly Top 20 College Radio Albums from the Radio 200 list published by CMJ (College Media Journal). The reputable rag surveys up to 600 college radio stations of a weekly basis to compute the list.
In addition, here’s my Spicy Six Albums of the week. These are the six albums that can’t find their way out of my six disc changer. The list consists of my Top 5 Albums of the week, and one Heritage Album that’s worth dusting off and giving a listen.
Here’s the lists:
Ty Segall is spending his third consecutive at the top of theCollege Radio Album Chart. Four new albums make their debut; including the latest from the Seattle electronic duo Odesza, and the Canadian rockers Elephant Stone (formerly known as The High Dials). Interpol’s fifth studio album “El Pintor” is up 8 spots to debut at #16, while The Drums (pictured) third full-length album “Encyclopedia” enters the Top 200 at #17. My favorite album of the week is the full-length debut from JAWS “Be Slowly.” When was the last time you listened to any Catherine Wheel?
