The new Arcade Fire album was announced via the band’s twitter page in response to a fan’s question and then announced on their website http://www.arcadefire.com/.
The new Arcade Fire album (currently untitled) will be the group’s first since 2010’s The Suburbs, which won a Grammy for album of the year. This win resulted in many people (Rosie O’Donnell included) wondering who they hell they were. Well, now I’m sure people know who they are.
The band recorded with producer James Murphy (from that cool indie band LCD Sound System) in New York City this March.
