Real Estate provided details on their forthcoming album and upcoming North American tour today. The indie rockers third studio release entitled Atlas, is scheduled to drop on March 4. The album’s release will be supported by a North American tour that runs from February 28 – April 5. The tour’s conclusion date opens up the possibility of being a late add to the 2014 Coachella Music Festival. Ridgewood, New Jersey’s pride and joy would provide some much needed indie help to the incredibly weak Day 3.
The three piece found enough time today to also release the first single from the new LP “Talking Backwards” (watch below). Atlas is the follow-up to 2011’s Days.
I always hear some influences from indie pioneers The Feelies when I listen to Real Estate. Coincidentally, The Feelies are also from Jersey.

hey DAve – Good show last night. i got all the footage imported and the footage brought back to the energy of last night. the sound is raw raw in all its punky glory but i may end up dropping this thing on some vhs tapes it seems like the perfect format anyway ill have a dvd master even though that format seems like overkill if you want a cpy. ill send it to ya just email your address — by the way two band to be on the lookout about – one is MILK MUSIC who have been around for soome time and i may have mentioned them to you last night but the other are friends of mine with the 2nd cd release coming out feb 25 named HELLO ECHO good guys more indie bright stuff this new album has some considerable depth from what they say but they follow the built to spill lead for sure they will be at the mint in la on march 1st and as far as milk music goes who knows i keep a close watch on their actions anyway keep it easy and send your address so i can get a copy out to ya. i wish the sound was slightly better but oh well it fits the show – chad
