In an effort to continue with nonstop surprises, the Pixies included a brand new song with the pre-release Indie Cindy vinyl edition made available on Record Store Day. When fans opened their package, they found an additional one-sided 7-inch of the tune “Women Of War” (listen below) that the sneaky band inserted.
The band’s first album since 1991’s Trompe Le Monde is out on April 29. The new album Indie Cindy combines the 12 new Pixies’ songs that have been previously made available on EP’s 1, 2, & 3.
I reported back in January that the Pixies registered 24 new song titles (not including Snakes) to BMI. After further review, we’re in store for 12 more surprises! How Fun!
Here is an updated list of unreleased Pixies songs that will most likely appear on EP’s 4, 5, & 6, try to act surprised.
