MorrisseyHere’s the weekly Top 20 College Radio Albums from the Radio 200 list published by CMJ (College Media Journal). The reputable rag surveys up to 600 college radio stations of a weekly basis to compute the list.

In addition, here’s my Spicy Six Albums of the week. These are the six albums that can’t find their way out of my six disc changer. The list consists of my Top 5 Albums of the week, and one Heritage Album that’s worth dusting off and giving a listen.

Here’s the lists:

Jack White is back in the top spot on the College Radio Album Chart after slipping to #2 last week.  Six new albums enter the Top 20 including the latest efforts from Landlady, Tigers Jaw, Total Control, and Morrissey (pictured).  Originally from Australia, now based in Brooklyn, the indie folk act Luluc (pronounced loo-luke) jumps 17 spots to debut at #8.  Luluc’s album “Passerby” was produced by Aaron Dessner of The National.  Craft Spells return to the countdown for a third time.  In EMO news, the latest from Champaign, Illinois’ pride and joy, Braid, moves up 11 spots to #9.
