Each week I post the Top 20 College Radio Albums courtesy of CMJ (College Media Journal). Below are also 5 discs that I have in heavy rotation and an album that amazingly turns 10 years old in 2015, I call it my Spicy 6.
TV On The Radio hangs on to the #1 Album on College Radio for a fourth straight week. Panda Bear’s EP Mr. Noah drops out of the countdown, but is replaced by the full-length Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper, which debuts in the Top 200 all the way up at #9. Other new albums to the Top 20 include the latest from She and Him, and the debut LP from the Los Angeles punk duo Girlpool. Finally, the debut effort from the Australian band The Preatures, led by frontwoman Isabella Manfredi (pictured), makes its entry in the Top 20 at #18. Get Behind My Satan, the fifth studio album from The White Stripes, turns 10 years old this summer.
